About

Dario Primo is a sustainability advocate and continuous improvement professional rooted in Traverse City, Michigan โ€” where he grew up picking cherries, playing sports, and developing a deep connection to the Northern Michigan landscape.

He studied Resource Ecology Management at the University of Michigan before working with the National Park Service at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the National Wildlife Federation. He later earned an MBA from Michigan State University, building expertise in supply chain and manufacturing operations.

After years in Arizona and Petoskey, Dario returned to Traverse City in 2015 with his family โ€” drawn back by the community, the trails, and the mission to help Northern Michigan thrive responsibly.

Today, he brings together his operational expertise and environmental values to help organisations reduce impact, mitigate climate risk, and integrate sustainability into their operations.
